How is my PSR calculated?

Our sophisticated algorithms meticulously analyse your bank accounts and credit cards, assigning you a score out of 100 through our exclusive scoring system.

Changes can always be made to improve your overall protection and PSR score. Our website provides many helpful tips, and every PSR generated comes complete with instructions on how you can improve the security of each of your accounts.

Once you have filled out the PSR form and made payment your report will be sent via email to you within 48 hours.

Every bank account and credit card has its own level of security, so there is no way of knowing how it will affect your score unless you generate a completely new PSR.

To provide customers with ongoing peace of mind, we have also launched a subscription service alongside the PSR. This service will keep you up to date with all the latest scams relevant to the accounts you hold and will provide instructions on how to protect those accounts.

Here at Watch Your Pocket®, we are 100% focused on prevention rather than cure. We know that the best way to fight fraud is to never become a victim in the first place.

As you may already know, there are many different types of fraud, all with varying degrees of danger in terms of personal and financial loss. Falling victim to fraud can be a harrowing experience and should be avoided at all costs.

If you have been a victim of fraud you should report it immediately to Action Fraud on 03001232040 or visit www.actionfraud.police.uk for help.

Fraud alerts are a great fraud prevention tool, but they will only alert you if your identity is used to apply for certain products, i.e., loans and credit cards. Sadly, these alerts can in no way protect the money you hold in your accounts.

What is a good score?

Generally, a PSR score of between 50-60 is considered a fair score, 61-73 is considered good, 73-80 is considered very good and 81+ is considered excellent.

The world of fraud is ever-evolving, with new methods and techniques being invented all the time. Because of this, the best way to maintain a high level of security is to register for our subscription service.

Sorry at the moment the PSR is only available to UK residents.

The higher your score, the less likely you are to become a victim of fraud, but no one is totally impervious to fraud.

Yes, your PSR is unique to you and the accounts you hold.

No, the generation of your PSR will have absolutely no effect on your credit file. It cannot be used to improve your credit either.

Yes, trust is hard to earn, especially when dealing with fraud. This is why we don’t ask for any personal details when generating your PSR.

At the moment the only services we offer are the Personal Security Report (PSR) at £29.95.

Recent figures show that fraud is increasing annually here in the UK. The UK is now the fraud capital of Europe, as more than £1.3 billion was stolen by fraudsters in 2021.

Any fraud that involves the stealing of your identity will have adverse effects on your credit score. This is because credit products such as loans and credit cards will be applied for in your name, and payments to those accounts will never be made. This will drive your score down; even after it has been rectified, it can take years to get your score back to where it once was.
